Overview
Pilgrims travel to Dimmamar because Sebastian Thor was born there. The man who helped end the Reign of Blood left the remote world a place in Imperial faith that distance has done little to diminish. Reaching its shrines has always required more than the ability to buy passage.
Dimmamar lies far to the galactic north. When the Great Rift breaks communication, the absence of news leaves the faithful with beliefs they cannot readily confirm. A family can pray towards the world without knowing whether anyone there still receives the pilgrim ships.
