Overview
Golgotha is where Yarrick’s pursuit of Ghazghkull ended in defeat and capture. The episode gave the ork-held world an Imperial notoriety to match the danger it already posed. The forces sent there did not find an enemy willing to remain within the expectations that brought them.
Greenskins continue to thrive in its wastes. Bombardments can kill them in great numbers without ending the world’s value as an ork bastion. For the crews assigned another strike, the target has a familiar place in the records. So do the previous attacks that were supposed to reduce the need for this one.
