Overview

Badab was a thriving hive world of many billions until the Badab War; its strategic memory is dominated by secession, punishment, and the politics of local power. Its location near the Maelstrom makes loyalty and control more than abstract concerns.

The world remains a cautionary mark on Imperial maps. Badab's lesson is that rebellion can begin in administrative friction, mature through pride, and end with fleets burning what clerks failed to solve.

The final siege of 913.M41 left Badab Primaris a war-scoured ruin — its hive population all but annihilated, the remnant run by an Imperial Mission under the watch of the Star Phantoms; sources disagree only on how dead the cinder truly is.
