Gryphonne IV once built and maintained god-engines. Its great foundries supplied wars across the south, supported by workers and priesthoods whose knowledge could not simply be transferred to another world when the furnaces stopped.
Hive Fleet Leviathan consumed it. The loss includes the population, the forge complexes and work that only their surviving products can now represent. Ships elsewhere may still carry equipment made on Gryphonne IV. The crews maintaining it cannot send a request home for the people who understood it best.
