Overview
Kiavahr’s hives stand among polluted wastes, with manufacturing still going on behind their walls. From orbit the damaged landscape can look lifeless. It is a poor measure of the people working below, or of the Raven Guard’s need for what those people produce.
Above the planet hangs Deliverance, where the Chapter keeps its fortress-monastery. The old rulers of Kiavahr once held the moon’s prisoners at forced labour. Corax broke their power, but the factories and mines remained part of the same industrial system. Kiavahr now supplies the Raven Guard under an authority with its own claims upon Mars, its own traditions and a continuing requirement for arms.
History
The Tech-Guilds ruled Kiavahr and the prison mines of Lycaeus. Corax organised the prisoners, seized the means to fight their overseers and forced the guilds to surrender with captured atomic weapons. The freed moon became Deliverance.
Kiavahr’s artificers later equipped the Raven Guard during the Great Crusade. The silent Whispercutter was among the specialised aircraft they supplied. Their work continued under a new authority without losing all its older traditions.
Military significance
The Chapter draws on Kiavahr’s factories and the minerals mined on Deliverance. Their combined industry supports the force based in the moon’s fortress-monastery. The chart exaggerates the separation of planet and moon to make both markers usable; the line between them represents that local relationship.
M41 and M42 status

Raven Guard industrial domain; detailed post-Rift condition unconfirmed.
The industrial classification is retained. The sources used here do not establish detailed local conditions after the Great Rift; no new devastation or recovery is asserted.
