Overview

Vior’la’s settlements have to endure the Trial by Fire. In its binary system, recurring plasma storms make protection a condition of habitation. The world’s defenders once used those same conditions against an ork invasion, sheltering their cities while the attackers were exposed.

Its Fire Caste academies train soldiers for rapid, aggressive operations. The planet’s martial reputation reaches beyond its own defences, carried by cadres whose confidence has been formed somewhere hesitation can be dangerous. Farsight was born here, though the independent realm he later established is a separate power. Vior’la remains part of the empire he left.

History

Vior’la was settled during the First Sphere. Its defenders used the Trial by Fire to defeat an ork invasion, protecting their cities while drawing attackers into the storms. Farsight’s birthplace retains its own sept identity, separate from the independent Enclaves he later founded.

Military significance

Fire Caste academies provide experienced training for fast, forceful attacks held together by discipline. Earth Caste weapons work and assertive Water Caste dealings reflect the sept’s confidence in other fields. The cadres serve beyond the system; their reputation does not establish the size of the permanent local garrison.

Provisional placement

The viewed sixth-edition map places Vior'la above-left of T'au and left of Sa'cea on the page.

This is a reproduced diagram relationship; the page has no explicit galactic north arrow.

Sixth-edition map reproduction, predating the Great Rift. Page-up is treated as chart-up for a consistent schematic layout; the source gives no north arrow. Galactic orientation and physical scale remain unverified. Regional symbols are representative points, not measured centres or borders.
