Overview
The wealth of Calixis passes through Scintilla. In Hive Tarsus it is counted as cargo and trade; in Sibellus it becomes influence among the sector’s rulers. The labour behind both is easier to find lower down, far from the rooms in which the profits are divided.
Gunmetal City and Ambulon add their industry to the hives’ output. Above this crowded life sit noble interests that have had generations to secure their position. The Inquisition has its own seat at the Tricorn Palace. A person noticed by these powers has entered affairs in which his disappearance may require less explanation than his survival.
History
The Dark Heresy accounts describe noble influence maintained through wealth, industry and exploitation. Marius Hax governs the sector in that setting. The later continuation of his rule is not established by those older records.
Military significance
The Scintillan Protectorate supplies planetary defence and the Fusiliers serve off-world. The Calixian Conclave operates from the Tricorn Palace, adding investigations and political conflict to the world’s ordinary military obligations. A threat here may be pursued through a household as readily as a fortified position.
M41 and M42 status
Calixis sector capital in the Dark Heresy setting
Scintilla serves as the Calixis capital, with trade and rivalry between its major hives defining the recorded local situation. The sources do not describe the whole world as a single active battlefield.
Planetary condition and leadership unverified
Calixis remains on post-Rift maps, but Scintilla’s later government and condition are unconfirmed. This chart follows the publisher’s position in central Golgenna Reach; a different northern placement appears on the Black Crusade galaxy map.
Timeline

Disputed placement
The viewed publisher-map reproduction places Scintilla in central Golgenna Reach within Calixis.
This chart follows the Calixis capital relationship. A far-northern placement is indexed to Black Crusade, but that book map was not directly inspected.
Source-reviewed regional estimate in the existing 0–1000 chart. The retained galaxy anchors, exact point and any ring size are not surveyed coordinates or territorial boundaries.
